Kirk Kettner (Jay Baruchel) memang tak pernah menganggap dirinya pria yang beruntung dan karena itu Kirk juga tak ingin bermimpi terlalu muluk-muluk. Kirk hanya ingin bisa bekerja dengan baik dan kalau bisa merebut kembali hati mantan kekasihnya. Kirk tidak tahu kalau dalam sekejap mata keberuntungannya akan segera berubah.

Suatu hari, Kirk yang bekerja sebagai petugas keamanan bandara bertemu Molly McCall (Alice Eve), seorang wanita yang cantik dan menarik. Di luar perkiraan Kirk, Molly ternyata jatuh hati pada Kirk dan dalam waktu singkat keduanya mulai berkencan meski Kirk tetap tak bisa mengerti bagaimana semua itu bisa terjadi.

Kirk tidak sendiri karena semua orang termasuk mantan kekasih Kirk, teman-teman Kirk, dan keluarga Kirk juga tak mengerti kenapa Molly yang begitu cantik bisa jatuh cinta pada Kirk yang tak bisa di bilang punya masa depan cerah. Kini semuanya tergantung Kirk. Ia harus mencari cara agar hubungan yang sudah terjalin ini bisa terus berjalan walaupun dalam hati kecilnya Kirk sadar kalau dirinya tak sepadan dengan Molly yang cantik.

The film opens with Danny and Vic hurriedly lining the inside of a transit van with plastic. We then see them shopping for a drill, a mattress and other supplies before entering a small flat and assembling a bed for the mattress, and stapling foam insulation and board to the walls and windows of a bedroom. Then they kidnap Alice Creed. They drag her from the street into the back of the van and, with a bag over her head and ball gag in her mouth, take her back to the flat, tying her to the bed in the room they have converted into a prison cell.

Danny and Vic are two ex-convicts planning to gain a huge amount of cash on the ransom for Alice—the daughter of a rich businessman. Danny is the younger and nervier of the two, whereas Vic is hardened and wholly intimidating. After Alice tries to escape, Danny reveals himself and it turns out that Danny and Alice know each other. Danny explains to Alice that he came up with a plan to kidnap Alice for a £2M ransom and then Danny was to take the money from Vic to share with Alice. Apparently Danny and Vic are lovers that met in prison. Danny kept Alice in the dark about the plan because he wanted the kidnapping to be "authentic". Alice is horrified by the plan but then plays along in order to try and escape later. In the 2nd escape attempt, Alice pockets a mobile phone that Vic discovers and he forces Alice to reveal Danny's plan for betrayal.

R E V I E W

In Kansas City, a paralyzed former singer, Jane, argues with her stuttering friend Joey about his belief that he can talk to the invisible world. One day, as she's out for some physiotherapy treatment, he messes up her house while searching for a book about angels that he has lent her but that she has not read. Frightening the neighbors, he is taken by the police to a hospital, where an angry Jane briefly visits.

The following night, Joey escapes from his room and comes back to his friend's house in order to tidy it as she sleeps. While he cleans everything up, he finds a letter from her young son inviting her to his upcoming communion in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where he lives with his adoptive family. Later on, as she has woken up, he asks her if he can spend the night on the couch.

On the morning, the police knock on Jane's door and ask her if the escapee is in her house. She hesitates but eventually tells them that he's left. Decided not to go back to the psychiatric hospital nor to prison, Joey then begs Jane to join him on a planned trip to New Orleans, where a celebrated author writing about angels is due to hold a conference.

Soon after they start driving, problems begin. Their engine heats up and their car explodes. They buy a new one but this one is stolen. They then board a coach and, while Jane sleeps, Joey meets a young lady called Billie by helping her find her wedding ring on the floor. She tells him her husband has disappeared without giving an address.

Working in an aquarium, Sam Wong (Jet Li) takes tender care of this twenty-two-year-old son of his. With the generous help of the neighbors, the two live happily together. Yet, the father understands very well that in the end, he will have to depart from the world, leaving his son alone and that day will come sooner than everyone is ready to believe.
This film is an ode to a father who is determined to find shelter for his son before it is too late. In the process, the boy achieves a measure of independence necessary for both to let go…

Armageddon bercerita tentang sebuah asteroid raksasa yang mengancam kehidupan di muka bumi karena diperkirakan meluncur dan akan berbenturan dengan bumi. Kemudian Pemerintah bersama sama dengan para ilmuwan NASA, dan Departemen Pertahanan, menyusun suatu rencana untuk menyelamatkan bumi. Mereka meminta bantuan Harry Stamper (Bruce Willis), ahli pengeboran minyak inti bumi. Harry merasa hal itu tidaklah mungkin dilakukan selama kurun waktu yang hanya dua minggu, dan dasarnya dia tidak begitu percaya dengan kemampuan orang lain. Sehingga Harry Stamper, memilih untuk pergi sendiri ke asteroid beserta kru pengeboran minyak yang ia miliki termasuk A.J.Frost, (Ben Afflect).

Akhirnya Harry Stemper beserta kru nya berangkat menggunakan pesawat luar angkasa menuju ke asteroid untuk melakukan penghancuran asteroid raksasa tersebut.

Apakah Harry dan para kru nya akan berhasil menghancurkan asteroid raksasa tersebut sebelum menghantam bumi???

Ketika salah seorang ilmuwan bernama Leonardo Vetra yang bekerja di CERN terbunuh, di dadanya terlihat sebuah tanda yang mengarah pada sebuah persaudaraan yang diduga telah musnah. Kematian yang tak wajar ini membuat para ilmuwan di CERN terpaksa harus menghubungi pakar simbol Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks).

Langdon yang semula tak percaya bahwa persaudaraan Illuminati ini masih ada mau tak mau harus menerima kenyataan karena tak ada orang yang sanggup membuat tanda ambigram sempurna yang menjadi simbol Illuminati kecuali dari persaudaraan rahasia ini sendiri.

Akhirnya Langdon dan Vittoria Vetra (Ayelet Zurer) pergi ke Vatican di mana persaudaraan Illuminati mengancam akan meledakkan kota suci ini dan membunuh semua orang di dalamnya. Satu-satunya cara melacak si pembunuh adalah dengan mengikuti tanda-tanda yang ditinggalkan anggota Illuminati dengan harapan dapat mencegah pembunuhan massal ini.

Namun sang pembunuh hanya meninggalkan petunjuk di atas mayat para Kardinal yang telah ia bunuh satu per satu. Kini Langdon dan Vetra harus berpacu untuk mendahului sang pembunuh atau semua Kardinal yang diculik mati dan tak ada petunjuk mengenai lokasi peledak yang dipasang persaudaraan Illuminati ini.
